Heal With Laser Academy Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Heal With Laser Academy training, memberships, webinars, resources, accreditation pathways, events and related educational services.

By accessing Heal With Laser Academy, enrolling in a course or a membership, registering for a webinar, purchasing an accreditation pathway, or using any Academy resources, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Heal With Laser Academy

Heal With Laser Academy provides clinical education, training resources, professional development, implementation support and accreditation pathways relating to laser therapy and photobiomodulation.

The Academy is designed to support clinicians and clinics in developing safe, confident and clinically reasoned use of laser therapy.

The technology is only the beginning. Heal With Laser Academy provides the clinical system behind the device.

2. Educational Purpose Only

All Academy content is provided for educational and professional development purposes only.

Academy content does not replace:

  • professional clinical judgement

  • local regulatory requirements

  • device manufacturer instructions

  • workplace policies

  • patient-specific assessment

  • professional indemnity obligations

  • referral, escalation or emergency care where required

Clinicians remain responsible for assessing each patient, determining the diagnosis, whether treatment is appropriate, obtaining consent, applying treatment safely, documenting care, and working within their own professional scope of practice.

3. Professional Responsibility

By using Heal With Laser Academy resources, you acknowledge that you are responsible for:

  • ensuring you are appropriately qualified, trained, registered or authorised to provide treatment in your jurisdiction

  • understanding and complying with local laws, regulations and professional standards

  • using laser equipment safely and in accordance with applicable safety requirements

  • following device-specific operating instructions

  • determining whether a patient is suitable for treatment

  • recognising contraindications, precautions, red flags and situations requiring referral

  • maintaining appropriate clinical records

  • maintaining professional indemnity insurance where required

Heal With Laser Academy does not accept responsibility for clinical decisions made by individual practitioners or clinics.

4. No Guarantee of Clinical Outcomes

Laser therapy may be helpful across a range of clinical presentations, but individual outcomes vary.

Heal With Laser Academy does not guarantee:

  • symptom improvement

  • treatment success

  • patient satisfaction

  • financial return

  • increased clinic revenue

  • accreditation approval

  • clinical competency without adequate participation, application and assessment

Any examples, case discussions, protocols or clinical outcomes discussed within the Academy are provided for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as guaranteed outcomes.

5. Clinical Foundations Training

Clinical Foundations Training is designed as an onboarding and introductory education pathway for clinicians and clinics beginning or consolidating their use of laser therapy.

Where included as part of a device onboarding pathway through partner distributors, access may be provided to eligible clinics or practitioners at no additional charge, subject to the access terms provided at the time.

Clinical Foundations Training may include:

  • pre-delivery learning

  • device familiarisation

  • safety and setup principles

  • foundational clinical application

  • early implementation guidance typically including a one hour clinic specific webinar

Access to Clinical Foundations Training does not imply accreditation, endorsement, certification of competency, or approval to practise outside a clinician’s professional scope.

6. Professional Membership

Professional Membership is the main ongoing Heal With Laser Academy membership pathway.

Professional Membership may include access to:

  • clinical standards and framework resources

  • evidence summaries

  • protocol refinements

  • practice-based implementation insights

  • “What Changed & Why” summaries

The specific inclusions of Professional Membership may evolve over time as the Academy develops. It should not be presumed all areas are accessible upon launch or at the tiem of purchase are available.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Professional Membership is billed annually

  • the annual membership price is $1,680 per year

Heal With Laser Academy may suspend or cancel access if membership details, logins or resources are shared outside the approved membership arrangement at our sole discretion.

8. Additional Practitioners

Additional practitioners may be added to an active Professional Membership for the stated additional practitioner fee.

Additional practitioners must be part of the same clinic, business, practice group or approved team unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If an additional practitioner leaves the clinic or organisation, the clinic must notify Heal With Laser Academy. Replacement access may be approved at the discretion of Heal With Laser Academy.

Professional Membership is provided on an annual basis unless otherwise agreed.

Renewal terms, payment dates and cancellation requirements will be provided at the time of purchase or renewal.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • membership fees are paid annually in advance

  • cancellations stop future renewal but do not automatically trigger a refund for the current membership period

  • access may continue until the end of the paid membership term

  • failure to pay renewal fees may result in suspension or cancellation of access

Heal With Laser Academy may change membership pricing, inclusions or renewal terms with reasonable notice.

10. Refunds

Refunds are not automatically provided for change of mind, non-attendance, lack of use, failure to complete training, or failure to access included resources.

Refund requests may be considered at the discretion of Heal With Laser Academy and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Where a refund is approved, Heal With Laser Academy may deduct reasonable administrative, platform, processing or resource access costs.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Professional Membership may include live webinars, monthly clinical implementation sessions, consolidation sessions, upskill sessions, Q&A sessions or other live education events.

Heal With Laser Academy may determine whether recordings or replays are made available.

Live session dates, topics, speakers and formats may change.

If a clinician or clinic cannot attend a live session, this does not entitle them to a refund or membership discount.

Webinar recordings, where provided, remain the intellectual property of Heal With Laser Academy and must not be copied, downloaded, shared, republished or distributed without written permission.

12. Accreditation Pathways

Heal With Laser Academy may offer accreditation pathways, including General Scope Accreditation and Specialist Area Accreditation.

  • guarantee clinical competence in all circumstances

  • authorise practice outside a clinician’s professional scope
